The dose was 2.5mg (1 tablet)/day, however I plan to see if an "as needed" basis might work also... So I haven't taken it since my last post (while I was out of town).
The only "other" effects I noticed - maybe a touch of sleepiness... didn't notice the "brightening" (I think that was the word...) noted by the doctor in the tips section - but I only tried it for a week - less I think....
As for the adrafinil - I was taking 600mg twice daily (two tablets twice daily). I had left that behind to try cytomel (which helped, but not as much). Going back to adrafinil. Initially it was great (the adrafinil) - almost euphoric for a week or two. Plenty of energy too. At that point I caught "the cold from hell", and felt generally really really lousy for a couple of weeks. After the cold, felt better again, but not quite to the euphoric degree as the first two weeks.
The cold also coincided w/starting wellbutrin again (primarily for smoking cessation). So although it may just be that the euphoric aspect diminished w/time, the thought also occured to me that the wellbutrin might've impacted my decrease in response to adrafinil... I'd like to see how the adrafinil does solo...
