Am taking 450mg. As I understand it, and have researched this drug alot - It is very effective in doses 450mg and above. I am gradually trying to increase the dose to 600mg. It is a drug that works well - but you have to be patient with it. Best of luck.

Nil side effects (SSRIs intolerable for me) and started to feel quite "happy" after about a month on just 300 mg. No hassles with diet restrictions either. Had to go off it unfortunately as Dr went out of town and no scripts - will start on it again.

All in all, I found that while I was on the Aurorex, I could finish the pack, no sweat - something I could definitely not do with the SSRIs, Effexors, etc.

Anna
It's a new one on me, however, I think the closest med we come to that in Australia is Effexor (Venlaxafine). I assume that milnacipran (ixel) is used or still being studied in Europe (unsure), but, to the best of my knowledge, not approved here as yet.
Appreciate it if you could provide the augmentation info on Moclobemide that you mentioned.
Many tks
