Well, Effexor is getting famous for its odor enhancing ability. It can cause increase sweating and odd odor from that, and similar things (see last archive). I don't know from experience if it would enhance or prolong alcohol odor, but it would not surprise me in the least!

Also, don't know how to fix any of these side effects.
