Is there such a thing as Cobra Insurance there? Our son was able to have a policy for three years after his coverage was terminated on our family plan. (It was pricey, however.) He now has a policy through Unicare, but has a 10 year waiver on any mental health related issues:( The doctor did, however, get in touch with the Patient Assistance program at Wyeth-Ayerst Labs and he gets his AD free. Good luck. I know this is a concern.
