All the SSRIs I have used caused total O-failure,
whether I had a bit o' wine, a toke, a tab or several
of Ritalin, or nothing at all. Even the herbals
did not help.A month or so ago there was a thread on this. One
woman related that she had tried, solo, for four
hrs without success to achieve an O. I thought
it was unfortunate, but I was amused by her determined
four hr effort. Then I realized I had done the same
myself. 'Sore' doesn't quite describe the results. I
spent a lot of time in the hot tub soothing my spirit
and an injured body part. What really bites is that my therapist & pdoc said
the inability to achieve O is 'secondary'. Well,
yes, if someone is suicidal anything else is secondary.
But if one is beyond that stage, then it certainly
is not 'secondary'.
