Doc switched me back to Wellbutrin after being on Paxil for about a year. Paxil is out of my system (2 weeks) and today is my 4th day on Wellbutrin (150mg 2xday). The first thing I noticed (and I remember this from last time) is that I felt great. Energetic, clear headed, motivated, and calm. This was when the dose was peaking in my system. In between doses, however I fell into a total pit of depression and irritablility. That's kind of how the first three days went. I wonder if I should be taking it three times a day. Does it take more than 4 days to reach a steady state plasma concentration (or whatever the hell they call it)? Should I give the bid dosing schedule a few more days? Anybody know?
