Lady - The hormonal imbalance theory sounds like a good place to start, esp. with the changes at pregnancy (not abnormal, though). Low estogen levels may play a part.Zoloft can cause sexual dysfunction in many people. You have to look at a number of factors. How long after the start of the Zoloft did the decrease in desire begin? Had your Zoloft dose been raised within a month of the loss of your sexual desire? Is the Zoloft keeping you in remission from your depression? Are you peri-menopausal, in relation to your mom (eg are you about to or have you gone through menopause and at what age did your mother start menopause?
While Zoloft and Prozac are considered to be in the same family of antidepressants (SSRIs) their chemical structure (for the most part) is very different. This could mean that Prozac did not cause any sexual dysfunction, but something that Zoloft is binding to is. Zoloft, to a small extent, also blocks dopamine reuptake and sigma receptors, where Prozac doesn't. I don't know how this relates to sexual function, but it may.
See your doctor about the estrogen levels to rule that part out, anyway.
Hope this helps - Cam
