Cathleen,

I can sure relate to the weight gain on ADs! And the fatigue. I take my ADs at night so the major fatigue happens during the night. If I take it in the morning then by mid afternoon I am asleep. I believe exersize helps depression, but whether is will totally alleviate it I don't know. It didn't work for me, but exersizing does make me feel better overall. So does sunshine! I am sure there are others here that could give you more information. As for withdrawals...I can't help you because I am one of the very very fortunate ones that lucked out on my first med. I take Paxil, and with a few dosage adjustments from time to time, it works well for the depression. I could live without the weight gain side effect!! But even that is better than feeling the way I used to feel.
