She was emaciated, very hungry, and immediately took tiny crickets from my hand. She is now soaking in a water dish in the kitchen. She is probably the only creature I know who loves me for who I am (kind of like a dog; I have two cats but they live three hours away, sadly). Am still trying to figure out how to get along that well with someone of the human species!
