That quote rings loud and clear and your comments
about sum up my life experience also.I've never been not depressed. I *think*, though,
that during those times when we are either not
depressed, or at least not wallowing in a pit of
despair (functioning & imbued with some rational
self realization), that that is the time to address
those *issues* that are so acute, time consuming,
and destructive for us when depressed. These
issues, whatever they may be, if resolved or at
least examined and understood, may cease to haunt
us and consume us when depressed. Resolution and
awareness/acceptance *may* (I hope) help us on
our path to wellness.
