> Andy, sounds like you need a good evaluation by a psychiatrist who is attuned to treating add in young adults. You are describing a common problem ad folks run into - I would also recommend you look into the books "you mean I'm not lazy stupid or crazy?" and "driven to distraction" as great ways to educate yourself on ADD and co-morbid problems - also CHADD (children and adults with add) has a web site ( that has lots of info and links. They also have the address of the local Chadd chapter in your area, where you can call and see if anyone has a rec. for a doc who know what they're doing with add in adults (most don't!!)Meanwhile, a low dose of an ad would make sense, but also reeval of your stimulants - sounds like they're pooping out, which happens if you take them for a long time - also, if you are drinking any alcohol, you are shooting yourself in the foot, both moodwise, and attentionwise. Good luck! Leslye
