In summary of my overly-lengthy post prior to this one, I would suggest considering all the stimulants and a few antipsychotics. One to two weeks each. I would look at things like Buspar only after exhausting those different classes of meds. Buspar is just too much in the same ballpark as other things you've tried. And unlike the stimulants and antipsychotics, it will take weeks for it to work and judge effectiveness. With stimulants and antipsychotics, there is a very real definite potential of experiencing fast results. At this point in the game, that's what we need, right? I think it makes sense to look into unexplored categories at this point. Forget Buspar for now. There are other things that make a lot more sense to me. :-) JohnL
