The popular press (e.g. Consumer Reports) are starting to report studies suggesting that St. John's Wort can interfere with the pharmacological effects of a number of prescription medications (e.g. birthcontrol pills). These publications do not list the medications of concern and give no references or descriptions of the kinetics/mechanisms involved. I've searched the net and reviewed several psycopharm journals without success. Who has this information?
