restless leg syndrome and Celexa

Posted by Erin on April 8, 2000, at 16:40:17

I got hit by a moderate depression about 2 months ago. I started on Zoloft and but I believe it made my anxiety and insomnia worse. I didn't think I was depressed. I thought I had an anxiety disorder so my doctor tried Buspar. Well, I started to feel somewhat better but my muscles started to ache and I would fall asleep but wake up and not be able to go back to sleep. I toss and turn and I can feel myself tense up. Part of the problem is restless leg syndrome. It starts during the night and gets worse towards morning, The more tense I get the worse my legs feel. My doctor took me off the Buspar and put me on Celexa. Anyone have any experience with insomnia, depression and restless leg syndrome? Did Celexa work? I started on 10 mg 6 days ago and went up to 20 mgs last night. Thanks for reading!
