sef- I didn't mean to scare you away from neurontin but the hardest thing for me has been finding one that works (neurontin) and then having to get off of it for physical reasons. the fact that you have already noticed an increase in appetite is a red flag. It also wasn't just the eating but massive swelling. It has been a hard thing for me to get off of the neurontin. Now I am taking Topomax which has a weight loss property and for the first time I am having a dramatically decreased appetite and it is hopefully going to help with getting my moods even. I am also taking tegretol. I hope the best for you. I hope you are able to find a doc that can work with you on this and help you sort things out. I often feel that there are far worse things than being fat.-Cynthia
