Take care.Yes indeed, I have heard from several individuals that the best MDs they ever saw were one of the few who are "neuropsychiatrists." A term generally reserved for those who are board certified in both psychiatry and neurology. I too hope that psychiatry will head in this direction in the future.
If mental illnesses are truly diseases of the brain...then it makes the most sense for an MD with a background in neurology to treat it.
