Perhaps they focus on the marijuana because they see a lot of addiction cases.
As for Patty's thoughts about using marijuana medicinally. The problem is that purity, strength, consistency, dose, etc. are all unpredictable.
Not to mention what inhaling smoke does to your lungs.
