I had headaches when I took 40 mg all at once. Once I split the dose, taking 20 mg in the morning and 20 mg at night, the headaches went away. This was the only way I could tolerate Celexa in the beginning.
Now I'm taking 10 mg in the morning along with Wellbutrin 150 mg and 100mg Neurontin. In the afternoon I take 75 mg Wellbutrin and 100 mg Neurontin. At night i take 200 mg Neurontin and 20 mg Celexa.
The headaches have not returned once I split the dose. I did try taking 40 mg at night and I got another headache so I assumed that the dose was causing the headaches, not the drug itself. Initially i tolerated 20 mg without headaches.
