I can understand your frustration if you're not feeling much of an effect after 8 weeks. I'd give it a bit longer, then talk to your doctor about whether it might be worth trying another class of medication. (As you probably know, Zoloft, Celexa, and Paxil are all rather similar, and there are many other things out there.) People who don't respond to one type of medication will often respond to another, so you shouldn't at all feel like you're exhausting your options! I agree with Abby that you should discuss the racing thoughts with your doctor too, just to be on the safe side.
