> My doctor prescribed .5 mg of Klonopin to be taken at bedtime when I complained about insomnia due to this drug. I take 400 mg of Wellbutrin and I don't have any problems with insomnia anymore. I've wondered if I could stop taking the Klonopin by now, but it's working so well that I hate to rock the boat.

EXCEPT for the INSOMNIA. ideally, i just need to find something i can take at bedtime to knock me out. tried benadryl which knocked me out, but it also depressed my CNS which negated the benefits of the wellbutrin. i am also very sensitive to most medications, so a little for me tends to go a loooong way. anyone who has any suggestions to help me get a good night's sleep without paying too high a price (in terms of side effects as well as financially), i'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences.

> Natural - Are you taking the short-acting or the long-acting (SR) form of Wellbutrin. A switch to the SR form can help with insomnia. Also ask your doctor to adjust the dosage schedule so you are not taking your last dose of the day near bedtime. I would say not to take your last dose after 5:00pm to try to avoid insomnia. The dosage scheduling needs to be changed, though, to avoid takine Wellbutrin doses to close together. - Cam W.
