> When I went on Wellbutrin, I feared hair loss, but had no problem. Since going up to 150 mg. Effexor a day I think the comb is starting to get fuller:( Has anyone dealt with this? When I used to read about Wellbutrin all the time on another board, someone said selenium helps. Is this true for anyone here?

According to comments in Dr Bobs Psych Tips, doctors are having success in treating antidepressant hair loss with selenium and zinc. Zinc dosages range from 15mg to 50mg bid while selenium was 100mcg to 150mcg daily. So apparently high doses of these trace elements are certainnly worth trying.
