I can "put on" 9 layers of clothes when it's cold or start a fire or turn the heat up when at home. I think one does adapt to a harsh environment when one has been living in it for so many years. I simply can't adapt to heat, never could. It closes my airway and I hate sweat and I won't wear shorts or tank tops and my eyes ache when it's bright out and all I want to do when it's very hot is hide in a freezer so gimme a cold winter over summer any day.
I do like fall and I do like spring too. I just HATE sunny, hot weather. It's not just uncomfortable, it's boring.
