Zeke, that is some good info you have there. The info on that Merck webpage coincides with exactly what I was told last spring by some old hand psychiatrists at a teaching hospital. They told me there was some questioning of the efficacy of the Mk-869 version substance P, that it didnt work as well as they thought. So it looks like they picked up another substance P drug and cycled it back into the process.

Guess a substance P antidepressant will be out in oh, maybe 5 years? Also, dont forget other companies are working on substance P antidepressants, not just Merck. So more hope there too. Plus there are the CRF antagonists...those are what? Maybe 10 years away?
