I've also been on and off various drugs like fluoxetine, paroxetine, dothiepin, phenelzine and am currently on moclobemide which does help and has no side effects but I am far from where I want to be in terms of social anxiety and depressive moods. Does anybody know of a decent psychopharmacotherapist or just a doctor who is willing to experiment with combinations of drugs? All the doctors I've seen are reluctant to say the least to even use anti-depressants let alone things like clonazepam which I'm convinced I need.

I don't know of any, but where are you? I'm assuming that you are going private.
London is probably your best bet. I noticed that Oxford seems to be compldetely free of psychiatrists
as opposed to counselors in private practice.

One thought which is probably a stretch is St. George's Hospital.
It is in the East End, but I remember that Kay Jamison was there as a visiting professor a couple of times.
SO, it could be worth looking into.
