Hi Cindy. Try two or three daily doses of Citrucel. A dose in the morning and one later at night. Also, it comes in a suger-free variety and has a pleasant taste (kind of like orange tang, yet, actually better). It'll get things moving for you. Because, it regulates the natural muscular rythmns of the gut. This looks like an ad for Citrucel...LOL

> > I had tried most of the SSRIs and every "natural" product for my depression and anxiety and never had any real success until I started on Celexa. It took about 4 weeks of slow but steady improvement before I leveled out. After 7 weeks I was feeling great but I was unable to concentrate on work or anything else. Instead of increasing my dosage or adding a new drug, my Dr. suggested cutting my dosage from 20 mgs to 10 mgs. After 2 days, the fog completely lifted and I feel wonderful.I take my dosage in the morning and only occasionally get a little droopy in the afternoon.Maybe a 10% decrease in libido and it takes about twice as long to finish sex as before.Only other problem was incessant yawning during the first week, Otherwise no problems.
> > Another thing i did was cut caffiene completely out of my diet and the headaches i used to get on SSRIs have went away. I had horrible withdrawals for a week before I could wean myself off caffiene but it has been well worth it. Anyway good luck to everyone and if you have a question, let me know.

After a very long week, I went back to 20 mgs. but the constipation is not gone. I am so miserable I am close to stopping the meds altogether (not wise for me). I am extremely sensitive to the medication side affects. This is the last of so many meds I have tried. I am at my wits end. Any advice would be most appreciated. I have tried making changes in an already good diet and exercise routine.
