> Hi! I read in a pubmed search how Buspar works well inconjunction with SSRI's and their cousins. Anyone have experience combining these 2 for "social anxiety?" Any info on your experience, dosage, side effects, and comparisons to other drug combos (such as specific MAOI's, benzo's) would be greatly appreciated.

I was given Buspar and Effexor together and I thought I was dying. I had a very severe reaction. But, I have very unusally high amounts of serotonin in my brain, hence, I don't need the SSRI's for sure. I am not "normal", so don't go by what happened to me. I just wanted others to know there are some of us who CANNOT take the SSRI medications, and it sure makes what little "life" us "anxiety" prone folks have not worth living.
