Yes. Novane is a thiothixene antipsychotic. I had
a schizophrenic office-mate (a computer programmer
no less... pretty high functioning for a person
with schizophrenia, but ultimately he flipped out
pretty hard and now lives in a group home).

He had to take cogentin to deal with the side
effects of the Novane (basically Parkinsons dz). I
would be more inclined to experiment with the
newer "atypical" antispychotics such as
olanzapine, risperidone, etc... They have a
much more benign side effect profile and appear
to work with specific dopamine and serotonin
circuits.

Hmm. How about Gabapentin?
