I finally went to the psyche doc and was diagnosed as Bipolar I, ADHD, GAD, and Panic disorder. With mild OCD and PTSD as secondary disorders. Now, to my questions. I have been taking 75mgs of Ami and the psyche doc has me taking adderall (20 mgs per day) to start and prozac (20 mgs per day) for start, all to be raised in 16 days. Is this a normal (ha! what's normal anyway?) combination of meds? Is there any risk of serotonin syndrome? He also said that lithium will be added at a later date, as I become 'stabalized' on this combination. I have been on tegretol before and was a zombie so I'm a little afraid of the lithium, is it different than tegretol?
Any advice or input from all you wise people would be appreciated.
