Thank you all for your notes. I've just been more than a little swamped, and have also had a bit of a health problem. That is, I had an abcessed tooth, and it kept me in a drug induced stupor of about a week. Horrible.
On the plus side, I'm giggling like a schoolgirl, and have MET A MAN. I know, I know. That's not actually worth much in the scheme of things, but it's sure a lot of fun! He's something special, though not for his looks. No one would mistake him for handsome, but he absolutely fills me with a warm, blissful contentment. And no, we haven't taken this past the stage of just chattering at one another about all sorts of things like cats, parents, history, computers, endosymbiosis, epidemiology, poetry, and ice cream. I've never met anyone like this, and it's both frightening and thrilling.
And then, school has started again, I have a whole new crop of students to deal with, and my new curriculum is late. As in, I sure hope I get a chance to do something about it before I have to teach it!
And the rest of you? How's it going?
(Cass, I'm having a great time with the batik and the mosaics. How are you? Did you find the Silver Swirls crayons?)
