Effexor and withdrawal symptoms

You should ask your doc if you've built up a tolerance for Effexor XR. Isn't that a time-release? I've taken it, and loved it, but when I got off it due to higher blood pressure being a side-effect, I had terrible withdrawal. I had nerve "twitches" and pain in my veins. I had very severe agitiation and moodiness. There is definite withdrawal on Effexor if you get off it, but I don't know about build-up tolerence side-effects. It sounds like your body is getting used to the dose, so either you need to increase your dose at your doc's discretion, or add something more to your Effexor XR. Good luck...
