And when I first started using it, liquids had an awful taste. I love soft drinks and yet they all tasted sour to me, but thankfully that did go away in time and there were a few things I could drink without the bad taste. Topamax makes me loopy, slurs my speech, but it has helped me. Overall it is not a bad drug and most people get along well with it. Good luck, Terri.
