> My father is 67 years old and has been diagnosed with dementia/early alzheimers. Two months ago, his behavior became very agressive and he would not sleep. The doctor put him on 1.5 mg of risperdone a night, this has stopped his agressive behavior, but it has been replaced with very confused behavior and he has now become incontinent. Could this be the medication or simply the progression of the disease. Any input would be appreciated.
