Is it normal to be going on this rollercoaster since I've just started this medicine. Also, am I being lazy by taking off a few days at work when I just don't feel right? Maybe I should just force my self to go?!

What you are describing is common at lower doses. Your doc will probably raise your dosage. 50mg is the minimum dose for Zoloft. The range is 50mg-200mg. Moving up a notch or two will probably get rid of those bad days so you don't have to push yourself out the door. I'm glad it worked for you. A simple adjustment in dose may be all you need. Good luck, jamie.
