As a die-hard computer geek, I was intrigued by this question, so I came up with a suggestion:
What would happen if Former Questioner came back into this thread, posted another message, and DIDN'T check the "notify you" box? Then that name and address (FQ's) would go into the computer as a "non-notify" for this thread.
Try it and see if it works!
