I agree. I have been on Klonopin for many years and it has helped me immensely. As with any drug there are uses and there are abuses. Used properly, Klonopin is a terrific medication.

> I just got done reading about all of your experiences with klonopin, and I'm sorry, but I just cannot believe that KG, you were taking 15 mg a day of it!!!!!
> I suffer from EXTREME anxiety as well as social phobia and was prescribed (initially) 20 mg of Paxil and .5 mg of Klonopin a year ago. Recently the Paxil was not giving me any benefits anymore, so my PCP switched me to Zoloft and continued with my Klonopin (.5 mg) at bedtime, this seems to be doing the trick (2 and a half weeks on it) so far.
> I just want to say that Klonopin has been getting a bad rap from what I've read. For me, it has helped immensely! No, side effects, and has also helped me with sleep, and muscle spasm. I suffer from a weird form of social phobia where if somebody is watching me write or eat, I shake, and it's very embarrassing.
> No offense intended towards anybody, just wanted to let futer readers know, and not be afraid of Klonopin.
