I take Omega-3 fatty acids, a tablespoon of cod liver oil a day. I can't say that it has changed my mood but I continue to take it for its other benefits. I figure that for a low cost the oil provides me with some cardiovascular and general neural protection and, hey, if it helps my mood thats just gravy. There was an interesting babble post on Omega-3s on Feb 24 by Terry.
