respirdal and tardive dyskinesia

Posted by Ruth on June 17, 1999, at 16:36:01

I have been taking respirdal for anxiety along with lamictal and celexa for a treatment resistant unipolar depression. During the past month I have developed an eye twitch and am getting concerned that it is an early symptom of tardive dyskinesia. The twitching is intermittant but recurrent. I know that it is unusual to be taking respirdal for a non psychotic condition, but it has been the med that has been most effective for my anxiety and I would hate to have to stop it. But obviously if I am developing TD I need to.
I'd like to hear from anyone who has had experience with this or even with what is a typical presentation of TD. Thanks
