L-phenylalanine instead of SSRI's?

Posted by Michael Hearn on December 20, 1998, at 23:22:29

Can daily doses of L-phenylalanine(500-1000mg), Vitamins C,B6(200-1500mg),choline(3gm),lecithin(80gm), & tryptophan(1-8gm) be used in place of SSRI's or other antidepressants? Does this combination have any addictive qualities as SSRI's? Any withdrawal period? How long to noticeable results.
