Im the one with the constant overbreathing ETC. I read up on adult ADHD and I almost fell off my chair ME,ME ME!!! anyway, I walked in the psych. office and said I think I got my DX...ADHD comobility(sp) depression/anxiety but mainly anxiety. Currently I am taking 4mg of Klonopin daily,(still had breathing difficulty) and 30mg of ritalin. Dr. wanted to put me on cyclert because it is not "controlled" AND he said ritalin is habit forming. The ritalin has almsot stopped my breathing completely!! My 8yr is on 45mg daily and SEVERE ADHD with anxiety. we just tried him on 5 mg daily of paxil and sure enough his teacher started to call within 2wks saying he's outa control. talked to his psychiatist and took him off the paxil. I and goes back next week. It funny I have this feeling that more ritalin would FINALLY stop my damn motor from running,My Dr seems so reluctant to write controlled, even for ritalin WHY??? anyways,goy anyideas
