Drug tests of the sort that you're liable to run across won't test for random drugs like BuSpar. Things they might test for: opiates, cocaine, amphetamines, tricyclics (if it's a test in a hospital), benzos, barbiturates, marijuana.

Have you experienced agitation from Buspar? I've been taking it for three weeks stating at 7.5mg twice a day moving up to 10 mg twice and now 12.5mg am and 7.5 pm. I'm not sure if it's doing anything for the anxiety because I feel agitated most of the day. I don't understand how one of the side effects of a drug for anxiety can be increased agitation or nervousness as it says in the sheet that comes with it. Has anyone been experiencing this and has anyone had to stop Buspar because it caused more anxiety? Thanks.
