I respond well to AD's but the side effects are ghastly. On Zoloft I became a slug, feeling like I was in a cloud or spacey much of the time, very tranquil. Because of the extreme muscle and joint pain I switched to Celexa and the cloud is lifted. In its place is what I would call hypomania. I can clean my entire house, shovel snow, reformat my hard drive, go for a 3 mile run, etc. all in one day. One extreme to the other, both places suck. Hoping for some balance someday.

I hear one of the side effects is weight loss :) and another is increased sex drive :) (definitely a blessing to those of us who have been on these "anti-libido" meds) ~Mel
> Although I'm on the SSRI, Celexa, I'm also on Wellbutrin. Unfortunately, I can't give you info as to wether I like it or not. Because, I'm a treatment resistive Bipolar who is going to get ECT treatments in a couple of weeks. But, I CAN tell you that I don't experience any side effects. I hope that helps even a wee bit.
