I'm not diagnosed as bipolar either, but have suspected for a few years that I may be. Some info I have found states that some people with *rapid* responses to AD's with subsequent loss of efficacy may actually be bipolar with the depression being the strong pole. I am printing out this info for my next dr. visit on the 26th. There is a Bipolar III diagnosis that is a "medicated into mania" type of bipolar disorder. I am fortunate that mine seems to be hypomania - no *dangerous* activity. Just overly energetic. (I jump up and down in place, do laundry at 1am, can't sleep, clean every nook and cranny, can't focus on reading one thing - I lose my attention span, etc.)

Thanks for replying to my post. I really appreciate it. ~Mel
