generic vs real meds

Posted by mary kotrba on August 25, 1998, at 7:34:56

I work with SPMI population and have been noticing a couple
of my guys with schizophrenia have trouble with massive headaches.
We've ruled out blood pressure problems. I'm wondering if the
antipsychotics they are on, in the generic varity is contributing to
the problem? Our psyciatrist says no, but he's old...
In this day and age of managed care, all of the folks are on MA, are
we cutting back way too far?
